Special Education Teacher Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team of educators. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities:
- K-2nd grade class
- Caseload: 8 Children
- Self-Contained
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.
Qualifications:
- State certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Interview Process:
- (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
- Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
