Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using teletherapy platforms to address speech and language disorders, including articulation, language delays, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation required for IEP meetings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice speech-language pathology.
- Previous experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
