Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in a school is preferred
- Elementary and Middle School caseload
- Plan activities that are specific to each student's abilities.
- Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade and from school to life outside of school
- Assess students' skills and determine their educational needs.
- Adapt general lessons to meet students' needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education required
- Master's degree in Special Education preferred
- Active Special Education license in the state of Connecticut
