Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Full-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Sterling Heights, Michigan. 

Job Type: Full-Time 37.5 Hours Per Week (W2) - Onsite or 1099 (Virtual)
Hourly Wage: $43+/hr

Caseload:

• High School Caseload 
• Grades 9-12

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students in a school setting in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' educational success.
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and goals in compliance with school and state regulations.
• Provide counseling and support to students and families as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Current and valid Michigan State Licensure (SLP).
• Certifications: ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP or CF-CCC)
