Positions Available: 5 (Resource Room & Life Skills Room - DCD)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20-$25 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Paraprofessional, you’ll play a key role in the classroom, working side-by-side with teachers and staff to give students the personalized attention they need to thrive. Here’s a bit of what you’ll do:

  • Student Support: Offer one-on-one or small group assistance in Resource Rooms, guiding students through individualized learning plans and helping them stay on track.
  • Life Skills Room: In our Life Skills (DCD) Room, you’ll be hands-on, helping students build essential independence skills in a nurturing, positive environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and staff to develop engaging lesson plans and create an inclusive, welcoming classroom.
  • Classroom Management: Keep the classroom organized and focused, so students can feel supported and ready to learn.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
  • Certification: Voluntary Paraprofessional Credential preferred, but optional.
  • Skills: A genuine interest in working with high school students, patience, and the ability to be a positive, flexible team player.
