I am currently interviewing Bilingual School Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a district in Elgin, IL. There are 4 full time positions available with caseloads in elementary, middle, and high school kiddos. Details are down below!

Details on the Positions: 

• Full Time
• 2022-2023 School Year
• Working with ELL students (Spanish/English) parents and staff
• -Must be near fluent verbal and written Spanish and English Skills
• -Must have bicultural awareness of both Spanish and speaking countries and mainstream English speaking community
• -Must have an understanding of characteristics of second language acquisition, its impact on the native language and differentiating between speech and language difference vs. disorder
• -Must have an understanding of dual language assessment data collection model (s.)
• Onsite ONLY
• Interviewing NOW via Zoom

Requirements for this Position:

• Must have ASHA CCC's or CFY's
• Licensed by the Illinois Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologist
• Must have IL License
• Must have PEL
• This is a drug free environment, all candidates MUST be able to pass a drug screen.
