Job Opportunity: 1:1 Paraprofessional

Location: Dover, NH
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday


Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a high school student with unique needs. The ideal candidate will actively engage in the student's education, track data, and collaborate closely with the Special Education (SPED) team.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent, individualized support to a high school student.
  • Actively participate in classroom activities to encourage student engagement.
  • Implement strategies to prevent and address elopement behaviors.
  • Maintain accurate data records on progress and behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with the SPED team to adjust support plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with high school students preferred.
  • Strong ability to track data and follow behavior intervention plans.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of behavioral needs and interventions is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
