Position Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Gaffney, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (37.5 hours per week)
Position Highlights:
- Full time, 37.5 hours per week
- ID1 Alternative School
- Onsite only
- Must be certified in SC
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student
- Provide direct instruction to meet academic and social-emotional goals
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to fit individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching License
- Previous experience in special education is preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of special education laws and guidelines
