Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and compassionate School Psychologist to work in-person with elementary-aged students. This contract position will run from mid-March through the end of the school year, focusing on providing psychological services to a caseload of 28-30 students. Your role will be pivotal in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and emotional well-being.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Serve as a resource for school staff on psychological and behavioral issues.
Qualifications:
- Valid California School Psychologist credential.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
