Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) near West Hartford
Job Summary:
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a school district near West Hartford to hire an onsite Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position will involve overseeing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) trainings, problem-solving, and providing behavioral support across various school settings for a K-12 caseload. The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement behavior support plans tailored to students' needs.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in education or special education
- National BCBA certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- School Year Ends: June 10, 2025
- Oversee multiple ABA trainings and problem-solving efforts within the school
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to evaluate student needs
- Develop and monitor behavior support plans to ensure effective implementation
- Provide ongoing consultation to teachers and staff regarding behavior support plans
- Collaborate with school staff, administration, and parents to ensure students' behavioral needs are met to support access to learning
- Consult with parents on ABA strategies to support skill generalization across different settings
