Full-Time School Psychologist near Ennis, Texas!
ProCare Therapy has teamed up with a school district near Ennis, Texas. We are looking for a qualified individual for the upcoming school year to join our caring team!

We would be looking for:

• 37.5 hours/week starting the end of August and staying through the 2024-2025 school year. 
  • Ability to resign available
• Daily schedule and caseload varies depending on evaluations and referrals.
  • 100 + evaluations per year
  • Heavy evaluation focus
• There would also be an element of supporting universal behavioral and academic systems. 

The position expects Candidates:

• facilitate the learning and understanding of mental health and trauma in children and families
• carry out Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBAs)
• create Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• complete the IDEA due process for eligibility determinations accurately (such as Specific Learning Disability) 
• serve as LEA representative for some Individualized Education Program (IEP) and/or Section 504 Plan meetings.

Required Qualifications Include:

• Master’s Degree in School Psychology (and eligible for internship) or Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology
• Knowledge of assessment procedures and instruments applicable for students aged 3-21
• Experienced with special education and multi-cultural topics, procedures, and laws
• Familiar with current research based universal screening and progress monitoring tools
