Job Details: Onsite in Methuen, MA 
Pay Range: $52+/hr (depending on experience)

  • Remainder of the 2025 spring semester
  • Potential to renew for the 2025-2026 school year if a good fit 
  • Full time position
  • ASAP Start - 6/13/25
  • Hours: 8am - 3pm 
  • 1 or multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between school sites)
  • More caseload/position details to be provided during interview process

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education services and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, targeting goals outlined in their IEPs.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support communication skills in the classroom and school community.
  • Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to support students with speech and language disorders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Massachusetts state licensure as an SLP and certification of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Strong knowledge of current theories, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
