General Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy, a leading education staffing agency, is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated General Education Teacher to work with a great district in the Dover, DE area. This is a full-time position, while also offering an opportunity to make a positive impact on young minds while gaining valuable teaching experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the needs of elementary students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student growth.
• Classroom of approximately 25 students.
• Utilize various instructional techniques and resources to enhance student learning and understanding.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic achievement.
• Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to create a comprehensive educational experience.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification/license in the state of DE.
• Previous experience working as an Middle School Teacher is preferred.
• Proficient in developing and implementing effective lesson plans aligned with state standards.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive and structured learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passionate about education and dedicated to helping elementary students reach their full potential.
