Special Education Teacher Position - Minooka, Illinois

ProCare Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team! We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with diverse student populations and is committed to creating a supportive and positive learning environment.

Position Overview:

• Hours: 7:40AM - 2:45 PM 

• Full time: Monday - Friday 

• Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $38 - $41, based on experience

• Dates: ASAP through remainder of school year 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a self-contained classroom for students with individualized learning plans.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement personalized IEPs.

• Support students' overall academic, social, and emotional development.

• Regularly monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to ensure success.

Qualifications:

• IL Special Education certification is required

• PEL and LBS1 Required 

• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with students with special needs.
