We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Intervention Specialist (Special Education Teacher) at Richard Allen Schools in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for providing educational support and instruction to students with special needs in grades 3-8.
As an Intervention Specialist, you will work with a small caseload of 11-12 students, creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting instructional materials and strategies to meet the needs of each student. You will monitor student progress, communicate with parents and caregivers, and collaborate with other teachers and staff members to provide a comprehensive educational experience.
Richard Allen Schools work to create a family-friendly and hands-on environment for their students, and this position offers the potential for a great renewal opportunity. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of ASAP for the entire school year.
To be considered for this position, you must have a valid teaching certificate with an endorsement in Special Education in the state of Ohio. You should have a passion for working with students with special needs and have experience creating and implementing IEPs. Additionally, you should have strong communication and collaboration skills and be committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
