Job Description

Qualifications:

Must have knowledge of the CT SETS program and be comfortable with standardized testing and assessments.
Candidates for elementary positions should be qualified in research-based reading instruction.

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs and strengths.
Provide specialized instruction and support for students with diverse learning requirements, including disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
Utilize innovative teaching strategies, assistive technologies, and flexible resources to enhance student learning and achievement.

Required:

CT State Teaching Certification with Special Education endorsement (SPED general curriculum).
