Job Title: Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Hanover Park, IL

Are you an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for empowering young children through communication development? ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated part-time SLP to join our team in a contract position at a small school district in Hanover Park, IL. This opportunity allows you to work with 3-5-year-old students, making a positive impact on their lives in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders and delays in preschool-aged children (3-5 years).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and goals based on students' individual needs and IEP requirements.
• Provide engaging and effective speech and language therapy services to students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights and contributing to the development of students' educational plans.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is highly preferred.
• Prior experience or strong interest in working with preschool-aged children, fostering their communication skills and growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff.
• Passionate about enabling children to achieve their full potential, overcoming communication challenges along the way.

Schedule: This is a contract position, offering part-time work for 3 days per week. The schedule will be flexible, catering to the needs of the school and the availability of the SLP.
