Job Overview & Responsibilities
Randolph County Schools is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team and make an impact across multiple schools in Asheboro, North Carolina. This itinerant role covers 3-4 schools (with travel stipends) and offers the chance to work with K-12 students, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Screening & Evaluations: Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Reporting: Compile and submit detailed evaluation reports.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on evaluations.
- Systems: Work with ECATS to track and manage student data.
Qualifications
- NC Credentials: Must have a valid North Carolina school psychologist certification.
- Experience: Prior experience in K-12 schools is preferred but not required.
- Tech Knowledge: Familiarity with ECATS is a plus, but we’re happy to provide training.
Compensation & Perks
- Pay: Competitive salary based on experience, plus stipends for travel between schools.
- Contract Length: Full-time contract through June 13, 2025.
