Role Overview & Responsibilities
I’m looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our district-wide team in Manteno, Illinois. If you’re skilled in supporting K-12 students and passionate about behavior analysis, this full-time, onsite position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference across the district! Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- District Support: Provide services across K-12 schools, working collaboratively with educators, paraprofessionals, and families.
- Behavior Analysis: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Training & Development: Educate and guide staff on best practices for behavior support and student interventions.
- Data-Driven Approach: Collect and analyze data to assess intervention effectiveness and make program modifications as needed.
- Collaboration: Work with a team of special education professionals to ensure student progress and align with district goals.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Licensure: Hold or be eligible to obtain licensure as a BCBA in Illinois.
- Experience: Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred, ideally within a school or educational setting.
- Skills: Strong skills in behavior assessment, plan development, and staff collaboration; proficiency in data analysis to support behavior interventions.
