School Psychologist
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $40-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a School Psychologist to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, supporting students with diverse needs, including visual impairments and multiple disabilities. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services that directly impact student success. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluations: Evaluate referred children by selecting appropriate instruments, administering tests, conducting observations, and compiling reports with findings and educational recommendations.
- Counseling & Social Services: Identify students in need of counseling and social services, and provide those services when necessary.
- Comprehensive Reporting: Conduct comprehensive Initial Evaluation (ER) and Reevaluation (RR) reports, ensuring thorough documentation and support.
- Collaborative Support: Work alongside the school’s instructional leadership to provide teachers with behavior and academic strategies, resources, and professional development opportunities.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to personnel guidelines and school policies.
Qualifications
- Certification: PDE Educational Specialist Certificate in School Psychology.
- Education: CAGS, Psy.D., or Ed.D. in School Psychology.
- Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of educating students with multiple disabilities, including visual impairment.
