As a School-Based OT in Maywood, you will be an integral part of the educational community, providing crucial support to students to enhance their academic and social success. This role involves collaborating with educators and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that promote students' independence and participation in school activities.

Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 32.5-35 hours per week
  • The position will be split between 2 schools: 
    • Elementary school (K-5th); 3 instructional SPED classrooms; 22 students with direct and consultation minutes.
    • Middle school (6th-8th); 1 multi-needs SPED classroom (more functional academic curriculum and Life Skills); 21 students with direct and/or consult minutes
  • Schedule at Elementary school: 7:50am-3:10pm
  • Schedule at Middle school: 8:50am-3:40pm
  • Paid lunch provided 
  • Available immediately for any virtual interviews 
  • ASAP - June 4, 2024

Job Requirements

  • Current and active Illinois OT license
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • PEL
  • Must have prior school-based experience
  • First Aid and CPR certified
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual or onsite interview with district 
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
