Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Odessa, DE 

Job Type: Part-time

• 3 days/week 
• Elementary and High School Caseload

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy and make a significant impact on students’ development! As an integral member of our healthcare organization, you will work with various caseloads to help children with conditions such as autism, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and physical disabilities to achieve their maximum potential in daily activities and social interactions. Responsibilities May Include:

• Evaluating children's sensory processing, motor skills, and developmental milestones.
• Creating individualized therapy plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and cognitive abilities.
• Conducting therapy sessions using play-based activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment to enhance children's functional abilities.
• Educating parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's development at home and in school.
• Working closely with educators, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Keeping thorough records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT).
• Valid Delaware State OT license
• Desire to work in pediatrics and make a difference.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
