ProCare Therapy staffing is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for this school year working with a supportive district. As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting students' independence, functional skills, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges and participate fully in educational activities.

OT Job Description:

• Full-Time
  • Onsite, Monday-Friday
  • Duration: 3 - 9 month assignments available
  • K-12th Caseloads

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care abilities, and other areas related to occupational performance.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, IEP objectives, and input from parents, teachers, and other team members.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other professionals to integrate occupational therapy goals into students' educational plans and activities.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate findings and recommendations to the IEP team and parents.

OT Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active state Occupational Therapy license 
• Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
