Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Dickinson, TX
Job Type: Full-Time (2023/2024 School Year)
Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with students in grades K-12 to help them achieve their educational goals by improving their motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' individual needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including fine motor and visual motor interventions
  • Collaborate with other members of the educational team to provide a coordinated approach to students' educational needs
  • Monitor and document students' progress towards their goals
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents to help students achieve success in the classroom and at home

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working with children and adolescents
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to special education and occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
