Position Overview:

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Monday to Friday
• Work Environment: Inclusive, student-centered, and collaborative

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students under the supervision of certified teachers and special education staff
• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
• Assist in managing classroom activities and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment
• Help students with special needs in developing academic, social, and behavioral skills
• Facilitate effective communication between students and educators to enhance participation and understanding

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
• Previous experience working with children or students in an educational setting, especially in special education
• Ability to establish strong connections with students, staff, and families
• Patience, empathy, and strong organizational skills
• Successful completion of a background check
