Part Time Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity- Sugarland, TX

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis in Sugarland, TX. This position involves working with 15 elementary-aged students, focusing primarily on pragmatics and expressive language. Some of the students have intellectual disabilities, so experience working with this population is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech therapy services to students on the caseload (15) 
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress towards goals
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support the students' communication needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required 
• Texas state license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required 
  • Licensure for home state in addition to Texas licensure required - if not residing in the state of Texas 
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, including those with intellectual disabilities preferred 
• Strong knowledge of pragmatics and expressive language development required 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills required 
• Ability to work virtually required 

Compensation:

• $35.00+ hourly
