We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis in Sugarland, TX. This position involves working with 15 elementary-aged students, focusing primarily on pragmatics and expressive language. Some of the students have intellectual disabilities, so experience working with this population is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to students on the caseload (15)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress towards goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support the students' communication needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Texas state license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Licensure for home state in addition to Texas licensure required - if not residing in the state of Texas
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, including those with intellectual disabilities preferred
- Strong knowledge of pragmatics and expressive language development required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills required
- Ability to work virtually required
Compensation:
- $35.00+ hourly
