ProCare Therapy is looking for a passionate Orientation and Mobility Specialist to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This part-time position involves working with students with special needs, ranging from Kindergarten to 21 years old, focusing on developing and delivering individualized mobility programs.
Job Details:
- Position Type: Part-time
- Caseload: Special education students, K-21
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement customized orientation and mobility programs.
- Work closely with special education teams and families to support student success.
- Provide direct services and assessments to students in need of mobility support.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS)
- Relevant state licensure (if required by the location)
- Experience working with special education students (K-21) is preferred
