An Elementary school is seeking to hire a talented SLP (CCC or CF) for the upcoming school year in Fife! This position covers approximately 20 hours per week (2.5 days) and surrounds a caseload of about 23 8-12th grade students. Our ideal candidate has a talent for working with Elementary students, a compassionate yet assertive nature, and excellent communication skills.
- Licensed by the Washington state board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Washington ESA
- Master's Degree from an accredited Speech & Language Pathology program
- Valid Driver's License
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
The key responsibilities of this job include conducting screenings, consultations and diagnostic evaluations with students having known or suspected communication disorders, interpreting assessment data, and planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment interventions according to student IEPs. Our district expects SLPs to maintain and organize their data, documentation, and progress reports, as well as regularly attend and collaborate harmoniously within IEP meetings. SLPs must work in compliance with state and federal law at all times.
