Position: Special Education Teacher 

Location: Toledo, Ohio 

Hours: Full time opportunity (37.5 - 40 hours weekly) 

Term: 2023 - 2024 school year

Job Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher with ProCare Therapy, your role will involve:

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.

• Providing specialized instruction, interventions, and support to help students achieve their educational goals.

• Conducting assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

• Collaborating with other educators, support staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Building strong relationships with students to provide the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.

• Active Ohio State teaching certification for Special Education.

• A genuine passion for working with students who have diverse learning needs.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
