Job Description
ProCare Therapy has partnered with a great school district in Lafayette, Tennessee to hire a certified special education teacher for the current 24-25 school year. This position will be part time and will pay up to $30/hour!
What you’ll do:
- Work onsite with a PreK caseload, ages 3-4.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20 students.
- Build rapport and trust with the children you work with.
- Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Support other relevant staff to help students achieve their goals.

- You will be reimbursed up to $150 for any expenses related to your state's compliance requirements.
Application requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
- Active Tennessee Special Education Teaching certification requried.
- Two references with one by a previous direct supervisor/manager.
- Background check, drug screen + fingerprinting.
- TB test within 60 days of start date (only applicable in certain states).
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Experience working in schools.
- Spent time in special education settings.
- Any SpEd-specific training or certifications.
