ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Teacher to work in a preschool classroom in Huntingdon, PA. Position Overview:

• Location: Huntingdon, PA
• Schedule: Full-time, hours to be discussed during the interview
• Caseload: Preschool students in a structured classroom setting (details provided at the interview)
• Compensation: Starting at $32+ per hour, depending on experience
• Contract Duration: ASAP – July 1, 2025

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support preschool students with special needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote social, cognitive, and developmental skills.
• Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Regularly assess and monitor progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education is required.
• Prior experience in early childhood education or with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
