Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Webster, TX. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in their homes, schools, or our clinic setting.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the BCBA.
- Collect and accurately record data on client progress using electronic data collection systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other team members.
- Follow all ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Implement crisis management procedures as needed.
- Utilize positive reinforcement strategies to promote desired behaviors.
- Assist in the development of materials and resources for treatment sessions.
Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday (Specific hours to be determined during the interview process)
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the BACB.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred).
- Experience working with children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
