Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will support students with autism and other developmental disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans and working closely with teachers, special education staff, and families. This role is vital in fostering positive behavioral changes and enhancing the learning experiences of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and analyze data on student progress and behavior
  • Provide direct support to students in the classroom and during non-academic activities
  • Assist in the development of skills in communication, socialization, and daily living
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and manage challenging behaviors, promoting positive behavior and effective coping strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and behavior goals


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred
  • Current RBT certification (required)
  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students’ growth and success


Compensation:
$28 per hour
