We provide comprehensive applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents, helping them develop essential skills and reach their full potential. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in McDonough, GA.
Position Summary: As an RBT, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients. You will work primarily with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. This is a full-time position for the duration of the 2023-2024 school year, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, following prescribed protocols
- Collect data on client progress and behaviors during sessions
- Collaborate with the BCBA to modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client sessions
- Assist in the assessment of clients' skills and behaviors
- Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on strategies for supporting progress outside of therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA setting
- Familiarity with principles of applied behavior analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as required
