Job Description:
- Fully remote with flexible hours
- Work with a variable population
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and testing
- Work with elementary and middle school students
What to expect:
- Develop and implement appropriate interventions and programs to support the teaching process and maximize learning and adjustment.
- Use formal and informal assessment data to identify and assess the learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs of individuals and groups, as well as the environmental factors that affect learning and adjustment.
- Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and the individualized education program (IEP) committee to contribute evaluation findings and collaborate on the child's educational plan.
- Consult with parents, teachers, and other staff regarding the child's program and any adaptations or materials needed to facilitate improved performance in the classroom or at home.
- Develop and maintain appropriate records and reports related to students and interventions/programs.
- Participate in professional organizations, continuing education, and in-services to continually improve professional knowledge and skills.
- Develop and monitor behavior plans and implement positive behavior support strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate level degree required
- State DOE Licensure required
- NASP Certification required
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English preferred
Compensation:
- Guaranteed hours and compensation for direct and indirect services
- Independent Contracts available
