Job Title: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

This position is based in Ottawa KS but allows for remote work, providing flexibility and convenience for both you and the students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students with speech and language challenges.
• Provide virtual therapy sessions using video conferencing platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging interactions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement intervention strategies and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and treatment plans.
• Stay updated with the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance therapeutic techniques.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current IN- STATE licensure.
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using video conferencing platforms and technology for virtual therapy.
