This position is based in Ottawa KS but allows for remote work, providing flexibility and convenience for both you and the students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students with speech and language challenges.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using video conferencing platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement intervention strategies and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, session notes, and treatment plans.
- Stay updated with the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance therapeutic techniques.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current IN- STATE licensure.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using video conferencing platforms and technology for virtual therapy.
