Position: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Caseload: Preschool only
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (with a half-hour unpaid lunch)
Start/End Dates: ASAP - June 13, 2025

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA. This position focuses exclusively on preschool-aged children and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on their development and learning.

Position Details:

• Caseload: Working with preschool students to assess and address their occupational therapy needs.
• Schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including a half-hour unpaid lunch.
• Onsite Position: The OT will provide services directly within the school setting.
• Duration: Start as soon as possible and continue through June 13, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for preschool students to identify their occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing play-based and age-appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to create a supportive environment that promotes each child's growth and development.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Current California Occupational Therapy License.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and staff.
• A passion for helping young children develop essential skills for learning and daily living.
