Job Description
A current school year psych position is available in Norfolk! Help make a difference in the classroom setting; we are anticipating to have someone who passionate, committed and empathetic to join the team! Details below:
Job Type:
- 37.5 hours/week
- Onsite
- Some elementary and secondary on the caseload
- Psycho-educational assessments
- Regular meetings - pre-special education, consideration of testing, eligibility
- Occasional meetings - 504 and IEP for those with mental health concerns, manifestation meetings for those with mental health and/or significant behaviors
- Crisis intervention as needed
- Small group and individual counseling as needed
- Hourly rate: starting at 32
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Valid VA School Psychologist license
- Prior school experience appreciated, but not required
