School-Based SLP Opportunity

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and experienced SLP to join our dedicated team! We are looking for someone with experience working with diverse student populations. This position involves collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and positive learning environment for all students. 

Location: Newark, NJ
Start Date: ASAP start - June 26th, 2025
Pay: Starting at $47+/hour
Caseload: K-12 caseload: details discussed further on interview

Position Overview:

• Evaluation & Planning: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills, and develop personalized therapy plans to address issues such as articulation, fluency, and language development.
• Skill Enhancement: Utilize targeted therapy techniques to foster improvements in students' communication abilities, enhancing their academic and social success.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to deliver a holistic approach to student development.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress to ensure ongoing evaluation and clear communication of outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Licensure: Valid SLP license in New Jersey
• Experience: Previous experience working with students of various needs is highly valued.
• Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for engaging with students, families, and colleagues.
