Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
- Provide speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to enhance student outcomes.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights on speech and language needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and consistently meet deadlines.
- Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
Additional Information:
- Full-time positions require 37.5 hours per week; part-time positions are also available.
