Job Details:

Position: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist and assistants  (9 Openings) Employment Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: On-site only Caseload: K-12th grade (candidates can pick their grade preference) Assignment: Itinerant (travel between schools may be required) Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week (no overtime pay opportunities). Travel opportunities avaibale. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students within the designated grade range.
• Assess and evaluate students' communication abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' speech and language needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a school setting is beneficial but not mandatory for consideration.
• Bachelors of Science for Speech Language Pathologist Assistants
