School-Based Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity with Severe Caseload (SLP-CCC)

I am looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to begin working in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Immediate hire in a very supportive school district. This position is full-time at 30 hours per week, will begin as soon as available and last for the duration of the school year. Caseload is ages 3-10 and have severe needs (nonverbal, AAC, autism), across three locations-- though candidate will only go to one location a day. Consideration will be given to candidates with their SLP-CCC. All interested applicants must hold an active Pennsylvania state teaching license and necessary clearances.

Job Details:

· Diagnose and treat individuals who suffer from stutters, as well as vocal and cognitive communication impairments.

· Help those whose speech is affected by emotional issues, various learning disabilities and physical impairments, such as a cleft palate.

· Assist with social communication disorders found in individuals with other conditions, such as traumatic brain injury.
