Job Opening: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Waynesville, MO. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide behavior analysis services to students within our school district. The BCBA will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing training and support to staff, students, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of student progress, and make data-driven decisions to modify intervention plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs.
  • Provide training and professional development to school staff on behavior management techniques, positive behavior supports, and crisis prevention and intervention strategies.
  • Consult with parents and caregivers to develop effective behavior management strategies and support plans for use at home and in the community.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of behavior assessments, intervention plans, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and state regulations.


  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience providing behavior analysis services in a school or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies, including functional behavior assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention plan (BIP) development.
  • Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to promoting positive behavior support and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
