School Psych Job Near Indianapolis, IN For 23/24 SY

Position Details:

• Start Date: July 26, 2023
• End Date: May 24, 2024
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Work Setting: Onsite
• Caseload: Approximately 40 students
• Locations: One or possibly two school buildings

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions based on assessment results
• Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students individually or in group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional needs
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' educational goals and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Indiana
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
