Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year in Kingston, PA. This position involves conducting evaluations, writing reports, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of students. The School Psychologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans and interventions. More specific details about the age group and hours will be provided during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs.
- Write detailed reports and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to provide interventions and support for students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to promote success.
- Participate in student meetings, including IEP and intervention team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification (required).
- Experience conducting evaluations and report writing in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong skills in assessment, collaboration, and communication.
- Ability to work with a diverse student population and address a variety of learning and behavioral needs.
Pay Rate: $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience.
