Yes, our telehealth jobs can help you take the next step in your remote career in schools. But you know (and so do we) that finding the right School Psych job is about so much more than that. This is about discovering new opportunities to inspire students—to show them new possibilities, to encourage them to realize their potential and to help them shine – no matter where you are.
We take promoting a healthier work-life balance seriously, and help our Psychologists maintain it by offering flexible schedules and work-from-home positions, so you have more time with your family and to exercise your passions. If you are seeking a change in your career – we have openings across the country and are currently seeking a full-time School Psychologist in WV for the remainder of this school year, with the ability to extend or change contracts at the end of the year.
Teletherapy can be effective for many students with special needs. We know it isn't one size fits all, but online therapy has worked with students who have articulation problems and research has shown that online therapy can be effective, especially in cases when:
- A student needs a specialist that isn’t available in their area
- A student feels stigmatized by being pulled out of class
- Flexibility is needed to work around a student’s busy schedule
- A student needs a less distracting environment to focus
- A student feels less intimidated in the online environment
