Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $40-$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

We’re hiring a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Join a team committed to supporting students with complex needs, including multiple disabilities and visual impairments. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to impact young lives positively and work collaboratively within the school community. Responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct evaluations for referred children using the best testing methods, observations, and assessment tools to ensure accurate educational recommendations.
• Counseling Services: Identify students needing counseling or social support and provide individualized services to help them succeed.
• Detailed Reporting: Prepare Initial Evaluation (ER) and Reevaluation (RR) reports, presenting findings and actionable educational insights.
• Collaborative Role: Partner with school leaders to provide teachers with academic and behavior management strategies, resources, and professional training.
• Compliance: Follow school and personnel guidelines to maintain a positive educational environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certification: PDE Educational Specialist Certificate in School Psychology.
• Education: CAGS, Psy.D., or Ed.D. in School Psychology.
• Experience: Proficient in working with students who have multiple disabilities, especially visual impairments.
