Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: North Waltham, MA
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person

Working Hours: 36–40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $45–$55 per hour (commensurate with experience)
ProCare Therapy is working with a highly regarded school district in North Waltham, Massachusetts to find an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time, in-person position. This role will involve working directly with students to assess and address their psychological and emotional needs while providing guidance for academic improvement.
The ideal candidate will be committed to helping students overcome challenges and providing the support necessary for them to thrive in the classroom.
Position Details:
- Location: North Waltham, MA
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours per Week: 36-40 hours
- Hourly Pay: $45–$55 per hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological evaluations to assess students' mental health and learning abilities
- Offer counseling services to individuals and small groups of students dealing with emotional or behavioral issues
- Work closely with educators, parents, and specialists to develop IEPs and other individualized interventions
- Lead crisis management initiatives and provide immediate emotional support in high-stress situations
- Offer training for staff and parents to enhance student mental health and well-being
- Regularly assess and track student progress and adjust services to ensure the best possible outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Massachusetts School Psychologist Licensure (or the ability to obtain)
- Experience in administering psychological tests and providing counseling services in a school setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
