Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team and support student wellbeing and success. As a School Psychologist, you will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to provide comprehensive mental health services, academic and behavioral support, and consultation services. You will be responsible for assessing and identifying student needs, developing individualized intervention plans, and monitoring progress towards goals.
Job Details:
- Part time (12-15 hours/week)
- Caseload: PreK-12th
- Evaluations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop individualized intervention plans to support student success and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community providers to coordinate services and supports.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address a range of mental health concerns.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practices to improve student behavior and academic performance.
- Monitor student progress and make adjustments to intervention plans as needed.
- Participate in school-based teams and committees to support a positive and inclusive school climate.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Appropriate state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in a school setting and providing comprehensive mental health services to students.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions to support student wellbeing and success.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
