Full-Time School Psychologist for the 2023/2024 School Year

Location: Quincy, California

Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a Full-Time School Psychologist for the 2023/2024 school year to work itinerantly between schools in the Quincy School District. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated professional to provide support to students, families, and staff in a collaborative, dynamic, and innovative educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments and evaluations for students with learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans to improve academic, social, and emotional outcomes for students.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Consult with parents, teachers, and administrators to address students' needs and promote positive school-wide practices.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate and enhance students' social-emotional learning.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) with School Psychology authorization.
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in School Psychology.
